Gifted Requirements

A minimum of 1 year as an RN with recent experience in the specialty applied to.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Labor and Delivery RNs (LandD RNs) are responsible for monitoring patients throughout labor and serves as the primary point of contact for family members. LandD RNs monitor baby’s heart rate and provide immediate care to the newborn. LandD RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

LandD RNs perform knowledge of phlebotomy, basic IV and central lines
Assess and record maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages
Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered
Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care

Shift:3x12 Days.
